Terms & Conditions

These terms & conditions apply to every person utilizing this website, registering as an attendee, sponsor, or vendor, or participating in the event hosted by Northeast IAATI Inc., otherwise known as the Northeast Chapter of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (NEIAATI). Any references to a date or a deadline, mentioned in these terms, website, or related documents, refer to US Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Registration is restricted to current members of the Northeast Chapter of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (NEIAATI), members of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI), or others who meet the qualifications of membership of either organization. Registration may be allowed to other individuals on a per case basis, including those persons who are current members of organizations with similar missions such as IASIU, ACFE, IAMI, IAAI, etc. If you have questions as to whether or not you would qualify to attend a conference, you may email us here:

Only fully completed registration forms will be accepted, and confirmation of attendance will not be provided until proper payment is received and confirmed based upon the levels outlined within this website.  If payment is not processed online, an invoice may be requested by any party and will be sent following receipt of the appropriate registration form, however, attendance is not guaranteed until payment is received. If the full payment has not been received before the deadline indicated, the registration will remain valid, however the fee due will be increased according to the payment period (early vs standard). Additional fees may be added if payment is made on-site at the start of the conference (as to be determined by the seminar director).

If the maximum capacity is reached, Northeast IAATI Inc. reserves the right to refuse additional registrations.

We also reserve the right to prohibit access to anyone, at any time, or to remove anyone from the conference at any time, if it is in the best interest of Northeast IAATI Inc., our other attendees, or in the event of allegations of inappropriate behavior. No refunds will be provided should someone be prohibited or removed from the venue.

When processing your registration online, a 'ticket' will be issued to you. While you may not be required to present the ticket upon check-in at the conference, the ticket is your guarantee of admission. If an error is made in our registration process, we will make all attempts to rectify the problem immediately, however if you are unable to present your ticket or show proof of payment, we may restrict your access until the matter is resolved.  Anyone presenting a ticket on a questioned registration, will be allowed access while the matter is being reviewed. If we determine that a ticket was issued but payment was not received, you may be restricted from attending any further events until payment has been made.

Payments should be processed at the time of the registration by credit card and will be accepted in USD only. Any processing fees will be included in the ticket price, however if your credit card or bank imposes additional fees directly to you, we are not responsible. Any negative balance will be collected on-site and access to the conference may be restricted until full payment is received. Registration and invoicing of fees may be processed alternately on a case-by-case basis. A minimum $25 USD fee will be levied on any returned checks and payment for registration may be increased to standard rates if the check was issued during early registration.

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing via email. The notification must include all relevant information regarding the attendee, ticket number (if available), and how payment was processed (via cc or check). The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgement from Northeast IAATI Inc. is received by you. Registration fees may be refunded as follows:

Written cancellation received:

  • Within 72 hours of initial payment (regardless of date processed): 100% refund

  • Before April 1, 2020: 100% refund

  • After April 1, 2020 before May 15, 2020: 50% refund

  • After May 16, 2020: No Refund

The date of issue of your ticket will be the basis for considering refunds. If sent by check, the date of deposit will be the basis for considering refunds. Refunds will be issued as soon as practical. In the case of over-payment or double payment, refund requests must be made in writing via email and the full amount of over-payment or double payment will be refunded if the request is determined to be valid.

No refunds will be granted for unattended events or early termination of attendance, or if a course is cancelled by the speaker or presenter, or due to other issues beyond our control or voluntarily made by you.

By registering for our event, you agree that neither Northeast IAATI Inc. or the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators, assume any liability whatsoever.
